The shell is based on system/creator parts in a beautifully accurate exterior complete with gold pin-striping and the giant flaming bird motif, “The Screaming Chicken” as it became known after the 1977 film which launched this car into iconic status.

Justice, it was stuntman Hal Needham's first stint behind the camera as director. Starring Burt Reynolds as "The Bandit" and a cast of characters including Sally Field, Jerry Reed, Paul Williams, and the incomparable Jackie Gleason as Buford T. Surprisingly, the cast and crew only had to use three Trans Am cars throughout the entire film.
